Hunter and I travelled from CA to D.C. to watch Obama's Inauguration. We stood in the very cold historic day for 5 hours (after 3 hours getting from VA to DC) but were THRILLED! We watched from The Mall, at 12 Street, about 2/3 of the distance from The Capitol to the Washington Monument. There are two h.264 video files here -- both the same video. You can toggle between SD and HD qualities inside the video player.
Topics: inauguration, obama, DC

This was our idea to loop this during the DVD main menu. It features a fun stop-motion technique.

Tracey and Hunter were Training Ride Leaders for AIDS LifeCycle 2009. We learned a lot about what it takes to be a TRL. We share what we've learned with you.

short time lapse of Cape Cod marsh with clouds moving over the waters. I used a digital Elph camera in timelapse mode which produced a 640x480 15fps AVI. I sped that up by 4x to 60fps using mencoder to make it more dramatic. Real clock time during the shoot was about 30 minutes.

Preview of how Hunter and I plan to collaborate! Audio track is new music used with permission from Hunter Lee Brown . It is his latest piece titled "My Father Didn't Know John Adams" (John Adams, a local Berkeley "minimalist" composer has a piece called "My Father Knew Charles Ives" 8-) ) This is zooming in from the house on a friday night shoot (our view isn't quite this good with the naked eye!) It is a span of about 48 minutes compressed into 19 seconds (~150x...

tracey has fun with the Lost TV show... my BFF, kim's birthday was today. We have watched every Lost episode together over the years so when I saw Brendan Rome and Bud Slater completely in "Dharma" gear and a Dharma van (a la Lost) during the AIDS LifeCycle, I went crazy and had to tape a message just for Kim!
