1979 Harburg - southern part of Hamburg - has been a boring suburb with just two exciting punky places, the Freizeitzentrum FZ Nöldeckestraße (recreation center for young anarchists) and the repertory cinema "Die Kurbel", where Pierre Godot worked as a film projectionist. Also Alfred Hilsberg started his first "In die Zukunft" festivals at the Hamburger Markthalle and wrote the important "Neue deutsche Welle - Aus grauer Städte Mauern" articles (SOUNDS...

A collection of diy rarities by Jörg & die wilde 55. These tracks were recorded during 1981 - 1982 on a reel-to-reel and cassette deck. They waited for 35 years in the dark. Now they are here! Hooray!

Ingenious dilettante goes jazz. The german Kassettentäter scene didn't create just Pop or Noise. Although Jörg's "Geschweifte Römer" rather is an Electro Pop album, he also liked to experiment with jazz in 1981 and 1982. - I'm not sure about the intentionality of every single note, but I have no doubt about the intentionality of the attitude: Free all that jazz!
