Wonderful Book!!
I hope Basil Mathews, M.A., received due credit, during his lifetime, for a wonderful work of literature. It is easy reading, but brings the Bible and history together in a way I've never experienced before. I grew up reading letters Paul wrote, but through this book, Paul, the author, became a very real person in history. Mr Mathews brought the region, history, and most of all, the person, to life. I feel very thankful to have discovered it 100 years after it was written. I've read it more than once, and will probably reread it a few more times.
