Established in 1895, the The Kingston Frontenac Public Library is one of the oldest public libraries in Canada. Its amalgamation with the Frontenac County Library in 1998 resulted in the seventeen-branch system that now serves the city of Kingston and Frontenac County in Ontario, Canada.
