Classical Philology is an active peer-reviewed scholarly journal published quarterly by University of Chicago Press. Launched in 1906, it publishes research on all aspects of Greek and Roman antiquity.


Each issue features original articles focusing on the study and reception of classical antiquity, as well as on the interaction of Greece and Rome with other ancient cultures. Published papers cover a range of topics, including literature, languages, anthropology, history, social life, philosophy, religion, art, material culture, and the history of classical studies. It also contains reviews of new literature relevant to the field. Occasional special-focus issues are dedicated to a particular topic of interest. 


The Internet Archive Collection contains microfilm published between 1906 and 2015.
